Jenks--6 Months

Mom's Outta Here!

I am going on a much needed break this weekend. This is going to be Kale's first time to be home alone with all 4 boys! Judson has some basketball games and a report for school that is due next week, Jenks is still recovering from a food allergy and Jedd and Jensen well, are just a mess by themselves. I don't expect the laundry to be done, the floors to be mopped or even the boys clothes to match, but I do expect football, wrestling, eating out and a great time with dad! I will enjoy being with friends but come Sunday I'll be ready to see my boys!

Let's Eat

When we moved, Kale and I decided to get a new table that all of our family could eat at. The other table had only 4 chairs, so Judson was using a chair borrowed from Mimi and Papa and Jenks didn't even have a spot for later. Well, Jenks is now on baby food and he has a place at the table!

We've Moved

We finally did it. We got the last of our outside (basketball goals, grill, etc.) things this weekend. We are starting to get things settled. It actually feels like home. Moving with 4 kids, 3 dogs, and a fish is not an easy task, I don't recommend it! Every time we have moved I tell Kale this is the last time, we'll see. We only moved across town, I can't imagine moving across the country to oh---Virginia! Anyway, we love our new house and are glad to be here.

Number 3 turns 3

Our little Jensen turns 3 today. It seems like only yesterday I was in denial that we were having our 3rd boy. He came to us as one of God's many blessings and I'm very grateful. We love you Jensen!

Jenks Kyler turns 4 months

Jenks turned 4 months on Monday the 22. I took him to the Dr. today and he is growing just fine, he's already up to 14lbs. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. It has been a little crazy at times wondering how we are going to raise 4 boys, but by God's grace we're making it. It has been wonderful having Jenks and knowing that he completes our family.

Go Horns

OK,football has started around the Phillips household. My living room has turned into Texas Memorial Stadium. We watch every Texas game we can. Judson wants to "grow up" and play for Mac Brown. He catches passes that Kale throws to him as he is running across the living room. Pictures and lamps have been knocked over but the playing still goes on! Next year he can start tackle football and he can't wait, but until then they'll keep playing in the house. Judson you're the best and we love your passion for football!!

Last Days of Summer

This is the last time that we were able to go to the lake. The boys always enjoy swimmimg with dad. Kale enjoys the wake board. Now we will move on to the fall sports like football and baseball. I'm sure I'll have pictures of them soon.

Yeehaw!

We were able to take the boys to ride horses. Judson rode a horse that was named Zorro. Jedd's horse was named Hog. Now he thinks that he needs to wear his boots and jeans all the time. They really had a good time. Thanks for the ride!

My First Post

Well, I'm just getting started on this blogging thing. It is fun so far, we'll see how it goes. I am excited about keeping up with family out of town and even those in town! Also, some friends (like this one) have shammed me into posting pictures of my kids on line.
